A few years ago we decided to rewrite the rules to writing textbooks. We wanted to come up with a more dynamic, more creative, and cheaper way to teach history, international affairs, and political science.
Why? Because more Americans between the ages of 18 and 24 can name the Three Stooges than the three branches of government. Because half of them don’t know who we fought in World War II. Because two-thirds of them still can’t locate Iraq on a map.
We wanted to create something new and special. Something that would tackle the problem of getting students interested in the world around them. Something that would grab their imagination and hold it.
Innovative and intelligently presented. The way education is supposed to be.
